March: Fail - but a good time was had

I really don't mind when I don't complete a bingo - I created these to encourage me, not drive me past what I'm able to fit into my life. Case in point: March.

I was out of town for two (glorious) weeks visiting London, Brussels, and Amsterdam. I relied on that trip to knock off a bunch of items, but nothing made a bingo. I could have done a trip to the coast to hike once I was back, but I was too jetlagged/had too many other life things to do. So it goes! I still had fun with it:

  • No car and walk 5 days ["in a row" isn't on there but is what I meant when I created the cards] were easy to tick off
  • I did not one but THREE various walking tours while in London
  • The whole trip counted for plan/do further-away visit.
  • My fancy meal out was in London at NOPI - an Ottolenghi restaurant that was fantastic
  • My new food cart was in Amsterdam - I got a gyro and said yes to adding cheese. I foolishly assumed the cheese would be feta but ... it was more of a gooey white cheese which was odd but whatever.
  • I ticked off conversation with a stranger when I chatted with a fellow American on the walking tour, and we went for a beer after - his fiancée was at the same conference as my travel buddy, and we compared notes on our travel plans.
On to April!
