February: fail!

No bingo for me this month. I left it too late, and the one thing I needed - visit a new-to-me-museum - wouldn't fit in the last couple of days of the month.

But! it was a good month anyway. I gave blood (I try to be regular but the prompt helped). I volunteered at Portland's Winter Light Festival - and it was good that I spent 4 1/2 hours in one area. I looked at the art more closely, I managed to see most of the scheduled performances, and I got to do some good people watching.

Live music was easy - I always participate when Low Bar Chorale has a show, and there were three in February! I also accepted a friend's invitation to check out someone we'd never heard of, John McCutcheon. Who, it turns out, has been around a while -  he just released his 45th album. Not only that but he's been around so long his web address is https://www.folkmusic.com/ - strikes me as someone who was early to the internet.

I saw two movies; "movie in theater" was accomplished with A Complete Unknown (I liked it fine but didn't think it should get best picture) and "indie/arty film in theater" was accomplished with Flow (it was fine, but I might not be the best audience for it. Still: yay Latvia!).

I certainly went 5 days without a car, but I wanted that to be more intentional, so I haven't given myself the credit for it. I guess it would have given me a bingo so maybe I should be more flexible.
